An intimate portrait of old age through the stories of two octogenarian women: the filmmaker’s grandmothers. While the camera relays the gestures and materiality of their aging bodies, they tell us of their lives, the passage of time and death. The filmmaker accompanies them on two trips to their roots; one to the Galician coast, which Manolita left more than forty years ago; the other to the small Navarrese village of Lerga, where María Jesús was born and to which she will return when she dies.
