GRANADA, 30 AÑOS DESPUÉS

Year2010 Duration7 min. DirectorCecilia Barriga WriterCecilia Barriga Production Coordinadora estatal feminista
Thirty years after the first feminist meeting ever held in Spain (1979), people take to the streets in Granada again and stand up for the ideas held by today’s feminism in its wide variety of identities. A transgender and transgenerational celebration: explosive, enthusiastic, contagious. In the words of Ms Barriga, “Even in its diversity, feminism is a social movement and a philosophy of life that keeps moving and transforming. It was worthwhile recording this moment in images to contribute to the fragile collective memory of what happened in Granada after 30 years and 5,000 feminisms.”
