Yet another film about moving by Margaret Tait, this time at the house in the Italian capital where she lived during her studies at the Experimental Film Centre in Rome. The camera scans the rooms, looks out of the window and jumps from object to object like in a spatial farewell. Sandals, pencil in a box, film reels, motionless suitcases are also the filmmaker’s inner space. There is tranquillity behind the doors compared with a cool and bustling Italian street.
