Six words to define Maenza, used himself at a very early age (if Maenza ever was old). They are the six words with which this interesting film semblance kicks off, introducing us to the filmmaker from Valencia, Carles Candela. The documentary is a revelation in all of senses. On the most physical side as we see a new face of Maenza which is developed in the trays of the photo lab, appearing positive. At the same time, it is also the revelation of Maenza in the last days, the humane and the person, removing the unapproachable artist, the good guy, from the title. Everything is seen through the priceless accounts by those who knew him as Oswaldo Muñoz or Vicente Molina Foix, and with moments of searches, discards and brilliant films, in film libraries and studies recovering the lost or damaged material, once more developing its corners, stopping the negative in the action replay to point out: “This is Maenza”.
