Guy Sherwin

Guy Sherwin is an experimental filmmaker born in the United Kingdom in 1948. His first cinematographic works go back to the seventies, after having studied painting at the Chelsea School of Art in London. He was linked to the London Film-Makers' Co-operative, dedicated to avant-garde cinema, and began to make short films and performances that he would later join in series. In his films, Sherwin makes a plastic investigation about the medium with which he works, playing with different speeds and investigating the possibilities of light, movement and sound.
