Chus Domínguez

Chus DomínguezHe is audiovisual director and works with elements from reality to create narratives mixing documentary, experimental and poetic techniques looking always for new representations of reality. A part of his work deals with the relationship between image in movement and scenic arts as dance, and between performance and music through collaborations with other artist.

His video creations and cinematographic pieces have been selected at international festivals including: Oberhausen, Vila do Conde, Tampere, IndieLisboa, Cinespaña, Mediawave, Zinebi, Seminci, Huesca, Zemos 98, L’Alternativa, etc., have been seen in forums –CGAI, MUSAC, Reina Sofia, La Casa Encendida, Off Limits, Artium- and channels as RTVE or Arte.

Fernando Franco

Fernando FrancoFor a decade he works as film editor and since then he has edited more than fifteen (including Blancanieves, by Pablo Berger). In 2007, he started to make his own projects as director. Nowadays he works on his first full-length film, La herida. As teacher, he is director of Editing and Mounting at the ECAM and lecturer of documentary technique atEICTV from San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba).

His short films have been granted with several awards, including Premio de Madrid en Corto (to La media vuelta, 2012), Grand Prix Award One Take Film Festival, from Zagreb (toRoom, 2011), Silver Biznaga to the best film "PremioOda Azul" (to Tu (a)mor, 2009) and Silver Biznaga to the Best Short Film at Spanish Film Festival from Malaga (to Mensajes de voz, 2007).

Virginia García del Pino

Virginia García del PinoFilm director and project director of on the UAB Documentary Master's Course. After graduating in Fine Arts, her production as a video artist brings her to the documentary genre. Her films, of resounding formal simplicity, arise from an attempt to understand human behaviour and in doing so, her films float between optimism and a disturbingly tragic background. In 2008, she won several awards for What You Say I Am, the documentary which opened the doors to numerous international film festivals, although her short films still participate in contemporary art exhibitions. With My Sister and I (2009), she participated in the 5th edition of the Punto de Vista Festival. Her latest production, THE JURY, is her first full-length film.
