The festival will host the world premiere of the 2015 selected project, Carretera de una sola dirección (
One Way Road), by Xiana Gómez-Díaz, in which she makes a personal reinterpretation of a route hidden by society, that of the roadside brothels in Navarra.
Setting out to map roadside brothels, the film visits the scenarios that function as non-existent places. On the outskirts of urban settlements, in the remains of abandoned places and on the border between day and night, she delves into omission, desertion and resilience.
The film was produced in 2015 after Xiana Gómez-Díaz was the filmmaker selected by X Films Project in the 2015 edition of the Punto de Vista Festival.
