Punto de Vista Acoustics

El Séptimo Vicio, a leading radio programme on alternative film, returns to Katakrak from Monday 5th to Thursday 8th, from 20:00.

Punto de Vista continues to collaborate with Radio 3, completing its film offer with afternoons of radio and music in Katakrak. The prestigious journalist Javier Tolentino will present his successful programme El Séptimo Vicio from Pamplona. The radio event, open to the public, will invite guests from the world of cinema who will present their work on Punto de Vista, as well as live music from some of Spain’s most important bands. One particularly outstanding guest is Niño de Elche: free, heterodox and chameleon-like musician, which plays with the limits of music genres, such as flamenco, to then reinvent them. He is undoubtedly one of the most suggestive and fascinating artists in today’s independent music scene, and he will present his new album in Pamplona, “Antología del cante flamenco heterodoxo”.

One of the most relevant bands in the history of Basque rock will also visit El Séptimo Vicio: Doctor Deseo. This group, led by the extraordinary artist Francis Díez, will present its fifteenth album, “Igual y diferente. Una mirada distinta”. The Basque band members have spent over 30 years in the limelight, and have released some of the most recognisable hits on the Basque music scene, including La chica del Batzoki and Corazón de tango. Their offer of acoustic concerts is backed by two local bands: Monte del Oso - power pop with hints of the raw sounds of the 80s and 90s - and Las Kasettes, who will introduce their first LP.

Major personalities from the world of film and art such as Harmut Bitomsky, Andrés Duque, Oleg Nikolayevich Karavaychuk, Otar Iosseliani, Claire Simon and Victor Kossakovsky have visited Javier Tolentino’s programme during his collaboration with Punto de Vista. Radio 3 and El Séptimo Vicio have also hosted successful musicians such as El Drogas, Gari, Sherpa (Barón Rojo), Tonino Carotone, Jaime Cristobal, Kokoshca and Cabezafuego. A treat for radio, music and film lovers, returning to Pamplona this year.
