Look, imagine and represent. Project our desires in the city, in those spaces, streets and walls that we pass, day by day. Let's take some time to (re)think well-known, everyday places. To convert, for just one moment, these spaces into desirable places. To erase the lines between what is real and what could be so.
Realities can be represented through cinema, but it's also possible to go further and to convert them into something more. This workshop considers another way of approaching those corners of the neighbourhoods that are already familiar to us, from another point of view, in order to use them to give form to our desires and representations and to put forward feasible and necessary alternatives.
As well as filmmakers, Maider Fernandez Iriarte and Aitor Gametxo are designers, coordinators and drivers of a number of education-related projects. They work in museums and cultural centres such as MACVA and Tabakalera, in projects such as Cinema en curs/Zinema (h)abian, REC! Zinema esperimentala and Kamaleoiak gara!
