PAISAIA includes the most recent works on the Basque-Navarra scene, within the documentary film area that is more open to exploring and experimenting with aesthetic and narrative forms.

In this edition, the theme line linking the different films at the festival is the reflection on the passage of time and its effects, from very different formal approaches and perspectives: going back over events of the past; analysing changes that entail transformations in the landscape; shedding metaphorical light on our current inclinations and trends; or addressing generational differences as a manner of understanding affectionate relationships at different periods in time.
