In the audiovisual field, the image has always been the main protagonist and yet, it is in the sound dimension where the credibility of a film lies, to a great extent. In this Foley workshop we will discover the narrative dimension of sound by focusing on perception and sound production. We will invite participants to "see the sounds" and "hear the images" of a film; and we will collectively create the soundtrack of a sequence, using recording and editing software, everyday objects from and a lot of imagination.
Pixelatu
In 2018, Nerea Ganzarain and Estibaliz Urresola created the collective Pixelatu. They understand audiovisual and film creation as a useful tool to promote dialogue, citizen participation and social transformation. Through different Stop Motion and Foley workshops they propose a fun and enjoyable way of approaching cinema for children, young people and adults who want to learn, share and stimulate their imagination.
