Twelve full-length films and eight short films —apart from three out-of-competition films— in the running for the awards at the festival: the Punto de Vista Grand Prize for Best Film, the Jean Vigo Award for Best Director, the Award for Best Short Film, the Special Audience Award and the Youth Award. Five global premieres, three international premieres, one European premiere and twelve Spanish premieres.
The Punto de Vista Official Selection features twenty-three films, a plurality of films from fifteen different countries.
The Punto de Vista 2024 jury is composed of Ruth Somalo, Jorge Villacorta and Ainara Elgoibar..
The Selection Committee for the Official Selection is integrated by Manuel Asín, Lucía Salas, Miguel Zozaya, Anna Brufau and Pablo García Canga.
As in previous editions, Punto de Vista will put together its own Youth Jury for the eighteenth edition of the festival, which will be held in Pamplona from 11 to 16 March 2024. Young people between 18 and 25 who so wish can now enter for a place on the jury to select the film in the Official Selection deserving of the Youth Prize for Best Film. This award will be presented by the jury itself at the closing gala Punto de Vista will hold on Saturday 16 March at the Baluarte auditorium in Pamplona.
