La isla de las aves is a programme of short films encouraging us to converse with nature from the curious perspective of three girls who feel driven to challenge their fears, delve into the unknown and learn. This will require them to immerse themselves fully in their natural surroundings: an island full of birds, a community garden and a forest.
This recreational session revolves around a game of sounds and images, alongside drawings by illustrator Marta Castro. Marta will be drawing while the films are playing and, together, we’ll delve into the sensitivity of visual worlds; we’ll sink into their landscapes to make time and space for contemplation, and become aware of the vibrant, delicate wealth of nature.
