Fragments of a journey in which geographical exploration merges with small emotional outbursts, like the panels of a map folded together, impossible to separate. Berlin, Buenos Aires and the chaotic possibilities of constructing something like a cartography of memories.
Gregoria has a twisted back, strong hands and black fingernails. She lives bent over and needs very little: a patch of land, some recycled plastic boxes and a friendly chat at the end of the afternoon.
A forest starts again. A village recalls the landscape it never managed to see. Hands, hoes and boots that disturb the dry earth to bring to the surface the trees that used to inhabit Ulla. The river is constantly born here and murmurs a now forgotten language. Who will inhabit this forest when it comes to be? Can a forest be planted? Will anyone give it a name? When does a village begin?
