Heroínas de cine

In this series, participants will reflect on films from a gender perspective, paying attention to the role of women in cinema.

Participants will be divided into two groups: each group will prepare and present a session at the Civivox centres in San Jorge and Mendillorri. After each screening, a discussion with the audience will be held to comment on the films.

Training and preparation:

Introductory in-person session (November)

• A preparatory workshop will be held with María Castejón, focusing on the thematic axes of the series and the application of a gender perspective to film programming.

Before the sessions

• The group will have a preparation session with Patxi Burillo during the weeks in which the screenings take place.

Series sessions:

• 11 December: Session at Civivox Mendillorri
• 18 December: Session at Civivox San Jorge
