Weare QQ

Weare QQVicente Vázquez (Tarragona, 1976) and Usue Arrieta (Arrasate, 1979) met in Cuenca and began working together in 2003, under the name "weareQQ." Together, they have developed a multi-disciplinary body of work, based on exercises redefining social spaces that may determine political, ideological, and economic aspects of our everyday environment, a way of creating - through videos, installations, and interventions in public space - new possibilities for people to relate to their contexts. They have just completed their latest work, "Going in circles", in South Korea, thanks to the exchange scheme between Hangar production centre and SASG in the city of Seoul.
