Furthermore, within the Chez les Basques cycle, the Basque writer, Bernardo Atxaga, will give a conference in which he will delve into Im Lande der Basken, a documentary by Herbert Brieger portraying the most bucolic landscapes of the French Basque Country in the midst of the Second World War. On the other hand in his conference, 9 Sequences on Screen, Isidoro Valcárcel Medina will reflect on the extent to which this medium is a primary or secondary element in cinematographic language.
