The poet, essayist and thinker Ramón Andrés and the artist and producer Xabier Erkizia will talk about the culture of listening, music and life.
Ramón Andrés (Pamplona, 1955) has written several essays such as El mundo en el oído (2008), Semper dolens. Historia del suicidio en Occidente (2015), Pensar y no caer (2016) and the recent Filosofía y consuelo de la música (2020), always paying attention to the importance of listening in history. In 2015, he was awarded the Prince of Viana Culture Prize. Xabier Erkizia (Lesaka, 1975) is a sound artist, independent researcher and producer whose work focuses on research and curiosity for any creation that involves listening and sound. His works mainly take the form of installations, phonographic, radio and audiovisual works, written essays and soundtracks for audiovisual works for which he has received international awards. Ramón and Xabier are currently collaborating in the artistic production of Niño De Elche's next musical and stage work.
