Excerpts I [Though I now depart…], the first chapter of this film project, is made up of shiftings, (re)encounters and departures. Records organically driven by the energy of gesture and light. Somewhere, fiction was possible.

Jorge Suárez-Quiñones Rivas’ work has been screened at festivals such as Rotterdam, Fracto Experimental Film Encounter Berlin, Filmadrid, Márgenes, Documenta Madrid and Curtocircuíto; and in spaces linked to contemporary art (CA2M, MUSAC, Tokyo Image Forum, Artplay Design Center Moscow, Takechi Gallery, Salón Madrid). His work also forms part of online archives and catalogues (IFFR Unleashed, Rencontres Internationales Paris-Berlin, MUBI's Notebook). He is a professor and project tutor at Master LAV.
