Nueve Sevillas

Year2020 Duration157 min. DirectorGonzalo García Pelayo, Pedro G. Romero

DCP

A film director, Gonzalo García Pelayo, returns to Seville to shoot a film about his city. Nine characters define with their lives the spatial-temporal limits of the city and also of the flamenco art and dance with which it is linked. With the presence of the new generation of artists, from Israel Galván to Rosalía, Niño de Elche, Rocío Molina or Tomás de Perrate, the city and the flamenco artists are lending each other affection, conversations and gestures. Through nine walks, they teach each other. Nueve Sevillas is a film about flamenco and about Seville, two things that happen at the same time.
