La pel.lícula

Year2005 Duration87 min. DirectorPedro G. Romero, Archivo F.X

“In 2005, I invited Paul B. Preciado, Marina Garcés, Marisa García, Valeria Bergalli, Deborah Fernández, Eva Serrats and Pamela Sepúlveda to rewatch the film Perros callejeros directed and written by José Antonio de la Loma in 1976. I asked them to give their opinions, comments, thoughts and, with these recordings, we put together an alternative soundtrack that was "screened" together with the film on one of the balconies of the empty city, the labyrinth of scaffolding that housed a series of works by Archivo F.X. on Badia del Vallés, Community in the Fundació Antoni Tàpies Foundation of Barcelona. The sole purpose of all this staging and theatrics was to make those images speak differently: the violence of space in the modern city, the political response to marginal criminals, the productivism of urban lumpen”. — Pedro G. Romero.
