Another Day of Life is a 3D animated feature length film for adults, based on the favourite book of the legendary writer and war reporter, Ryszard Kapuscinski. It narrates the desperate chronicle of a human being, who is pushed to his limits and is fighting for survival and informs the world about the final battle between the United States and the Soviet Union for the control of Africa.

Raul de la Fuente, Damián Nenow

Raúl de la FuenteRaúl de la Fuente (Pamplona, 1974) has been a film and TV producer, director and scriptwriter since 1996. His first feature length film as a director and scriptwriter was Nömadak Tx won an award at the San Sebastian Film Festival in 2006 (CICAE Award). It was the Spanish documentary film that won the most awards at international festivals in 2007 (17 awards and over 150 festivals).

In 2009, he founded KANAKI FILMS as an outlet for own projects at the headquarters in Donostia, Gipuzkoa and Unciti, Navarra.

His work, Virgen Negra was a Finalist Candidate to the Goya Awards 2012, in the category of Best Short Length Documentary, and won the Silver Bishop’s Weed Award at the Spanish Film Festival in Malaga.

His latest work as photography director, Pura Vida: The Ridge, was premiered in 2012 at the San Sebastian Film Festival and won the Serbitzu Award for the Best Basque Production.

He is currently directing Another Day of Life, a 3D animated feature length film for an adult audience based on the book by Ryszard Kapuscinski, with the same name.

Damian NenowDamian Nenow, Poland, is the animation director and co-director of Another Day of Life.

Graduate of Lodz Film School, Poland, he is the animation director and head of the Platige Image layout team. He has directed 3 animated short length films: The Aim (2005), The Great Escape (2006) and Paths of Hate (2010). They have all received prestigious awards from all over the world and Paths of Hate was included on the shortlist for the Oscar 2012 in the category of Best Animated Short Length Film.
