Mr. and Mrs. Colombi is a love story that challenges the passing of time. She cannot move by herself. He helps her to eat with a spoon. Together, they feel lucky, isolated from all the changes in this world. Their retreat is one of absolute symbiosis, without children. Almost a century later, together they gradually lose their strength but not their lucidity. To recover their story from oblivion, this portrait of the colour of x-rays in which a snug figure appears to come out of one of Muybridge’s lost coils, makes strange old objects sound as if they were great instruments. The music of a relationship dies out in a terrible yet beautiful way.
