Essay on Ghana under the title of Rimbaud, which merges post-colonialism, technology, ancient traditions and a touch of science fiction. A supposed visionary inhabitant of the African country reads other past and future temporalities in images of the present based on sakawa, a type of con that combines voodoo and online methods. The film traces the history of these conmen to the times of independence and proposes sakawa as a form of anti-neo-colonist resistance under the motto: “Recover the gold that was stolen from us”.
