Sur la plage de Belfast

Year1996 Duration40 min. DirectorHenri-François Imbert

The film begins with two gifts: an old Super 8 film camera from a street market in Belfast, bought by the director’s girlfriend and a forgotten, undeveloped film inside. This is when playing with time begins, when the filmmaker sets out to find the people in the forgotten film. The search is not easy, for the film only shows a few shots from a family holiday and a few scenes of domestic life. How could this be turned into a present?
