Mónica Valenciano, winner of the National Dance Award, is a dancer and choreographer who, while preparing her next production, spends her days between the countryside and the rehearsal room. Her meetings with Raquel allow her to explore the possibilities of a dance in which the body has no greater significance than the word, an introspective dance inspired by the grace of spontaneous gesture. No intention, no discourse, nothing to explain. Just attention and present.
Manuel Fernández-Valdés (1979, Pontevedra) is a photographer and filmmaker. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication and obtained a Master’s degree in Creative Documentary from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. In 2016 he created the production company Ordenpropia in Madrid to develop his own personal projects. His first production, Angélica [una tragedia], a feature-length documentary on the artist Angélica Liddell, was screened at festivals such as BAFICI, Doclisboa and Festival/Tokyo.
