Mikel Zatarain
Mikel Zatarain. Born in Donostia-San Sebastián in 1983, he studied film production in Andoain. In 2006, he moved to Barcelona to deepen his knowledge of film language, earning a degree in Filmmaking from the Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya (CECC). A regular attendee at Filmoteca de Catalunya, he continued his studies with a Master’s Programme in Art Documentary at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Since 2005, he has worked as a technical assistant in many film crews, performing production, direction, and camera tasks. An advocate of DIY, he records live music concerts on his own.
