Reconstructing a series of unearthed home movies, Dustin Guy Defa dubs his own voice over the voices of his family members to create a personal portrait of dysfunction. The result is a slice of early-1990s America, a dizzy trip through the destructive patterns that have trapped and destroyed a family.
