Ojo Guareña

Year2018 Duration56 min. DirectorEdurne Rubio

A group of speleologists go into a cave called Ojo Guareña. The space limits appear diffuse and the human voices reach us as a reverberation from an uncertain source. In the end, we are not quite sure whether we are looking at the cave or whether, on the contrary, it is the cave that is actually looking at us.

Edurne Rubio

Edurne Rubio Barredo (Burgos, 1974) is a visual artist and her work moves between different formats and contexts: performances, films and sound projects. Edurne Rubio uses the interview as the principal  working method, she collects individual histories to construct a collective narrative that transcends, and therefore questions, a linear reading of History, proposing a subjective reading, in continuous transformation and dependent on affections.
