The cinematographic machine deciphers Le Corbusier’s architectural machine. 762 apartments and 762 stories coexist in a copy of the “Room Unit” by the Swiss-French architect in some place in Poland. Three thousand people on fifteen floors live in this vertical city. The camera scans the passageways in arithmetic progression and enables us to pass through the doors to see inside their lives, almost like George Perec. At times, three seconds are enough for the portrait of an entire family.
