Once more, a silent film for her most poetic images, Margaret Tait disappears when the pace of the image changes to verse. The title walls present us with her studio on Rose Street in Edinburgh. This film is similar to those she made in so many other rooms before leaving them. The camera is reading the memory, scanning the memories and licking the walls in a farewell glance, attempting to secure in time the accumulated photos as a collage of the heroes of those years: gymnasts, horse riders, animals… all images are valid to conjugate the verb “to leave”.
