This film takes us on a journey across Spanish bullrings, the life of a comic bullfighter and his troupe of dwarfs. It shows the troupe’s performances, and the dreams, difficulties and concerns of a group of artists that love a profession that is about to become extinct.
José Luis Roig, Ezequiel Degastaldi
José Luis Roig was a ZDF correspondent in Madrid until 1994, when he moved to Pamplona. Since then, he has worked as an operator and director of photography in advertising spots, documentaries, feature films, and music videos.
Ezequiel Degastaldi was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. He studied Film and TV Scriptwriting at Guionarte in Buenos Aires. He also attended courses on film theory and criticism at Buenos Aires Comunicación (BAC), and montage at the Argentina Film Industry Trade Union (SICA). Since 2002, he has been a video maker for the production companies ITEPE and D4D. He is also the Director of the Berriozar Social Short Film Festival – FICBE.
