In Tunisia, while it could also be somewhere else: This Day Won’t Last is a cooperation with a distance that lies on the border between the need and the fear of making a film, the need and the fear of the revolution. That is how this self portrait turns into a group portrait. Clandestine, but straight from the heart: an end that could also lead to a new beginning.

Since 2017, Mouaad el Salem is director, producer, cameraperson, soundperson, editor, activist and lead characters of the debut film This Day Won't Last. Mouaad lives and dreams in Tunisia and Europe.
