An Amazonian film that combines a strange mixture: on one hand, an anthropologist who doesn’t quite manage to enter in the jungle and, on the other hand, a native who cannot get out. The question arises between these two impossibilities: where is the jungle? In the search of one of them or in the other’s escape? From Manaos, the film by Iván Castiñeiras from Galicia shows us the questions that arise in these two directions. For the anthropologist, the jungle becomes a treasure that is never reached. For the native, it is a jail that is increasingly difficult to break out of.
