Los Hijos group

Los Hijos group composed of Javier Fernández Vázquez, Luis López Carrasco and Natalia Marín Sancho and dedicated to non-fiction films, video-art and experimental ethnography, was founded in Madrid in 2008. Its pieces have been projected in several festivals and national art centres such as the Reina Sofía, Guggenheim (Bilbao) or Artium (Vitoria-Gasteiz), and international venues/events, among them the Centre Georges Pompidou, Anthology Film Archives or Laboratorio Tascabile. Los Hijos have also curated a number of audiovisual cycles in the Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo (CA2M) and Tabakalera Donostia, as well as being the subject of retrospectives on their work in Arteleku or the International Film Festival of Mar del Plata.

Maddi Barber

Maddi BarberMaddi Barber (Lakabe, 1988) is a filmmaker. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication and went on to complete a Master's degree in Visual Anthropology at the University of Manchester. In 2015 she took part in Zinergentziak #15 (motivated by TyF and ZINEBI) where she collectively directed the feature film Distantziak. In 2018, together with Christopher Murray and Charlotte Hoskins, she made the short film Yours Truly, which is part of the official section of the Punto de Vista festival.
