Luis Miñarro is in charge of Eddie Saeta, an audiovisual production company that, since it was first set up in 1989, has produced several titles, which are always featured and receive recognition at international festivals, and share a common interest in auteur film-making. For example, El Cant Dels Ocells by Albert Serra and Liverpool by Lisandro Alonso, both took part in the most recent edition of the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Directors' Fortnight. It also recently released a documentary entitled El Somni (2008) by Christophe Farnarier, which took part in the Locamo Festival.
Since it was established, it has been committed to supporting young directors with their own cinematographic perspective. Cosas que nunca te dije (1996) by Isabel Coixet, took part in the Panorama section of the Berlin Festival. Later, Las Mans Buides (2003) by Marc Recha was shown as part of the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Festival, and En la Ciudad de Sylvia (2007) by José Luis Guerín competed in the Official Section of the Venice Festival winning the "Bisato d'Oro" Judges Award.
