Montse Triola

Montse Triola (Banyoles, 1974) is a producer and performer. She gained a degree in Performing Arts at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. She completed a Master's Degree in “Theatre Practice” on 20th century visual and performance theories at the Rose Bruford College, United Kingdom. She studied English Philology at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. In 2003, together with Albert Serra, she founded the film production company Andergraun Films, going on to produce the following feature films: Honor de cavalleria (2006) El cant dels ocells (2008) (both premiered at the Quinzena de Realitzadors of the Cannes Festival), Historia de mi muerte (Golden Leopard at the Festival of Locarno 2013) and La muerte de Luis XIV (official selection of the Cannes Festival 2016).
