Ben Russell, Josh Siegel, Naomi Uman and Josep Maria Català to make up the festival's jury Punto de Vista has chosen almost all the judges who will make up the jury for next year’s edition. Filmmakers Ben Russell (recipient of the Punto de Vista Award to best movie in February 2010) and Naomi Uman, along with film and media curator at the MoMA Josh Siegel and professor Josep Maria Català, will decide the winners in the Official Selection.

Fernando Franco will create the trailer for the 2011 edition In line with the festival’s intention to support young artists, film director and editor Fernando Franco has been commissioned to create the trailer for next year’s edition, a short video to be screened as a prelude to every session in the festival. In 2010, the trailer’s author was Basque filmmaker Victor Iriarte.

Final countdown for film selection in 7th Punto de Vista Festival
September 30 was the deadline for films to enter the Official Selection of the 7th edition of the Punto de Vista Documentary Film Festival, to take place in Pamplona from February 22 to 27, 2011.
