Special Sessions: A programme selected by Ben Russell and a pioneer experience of amateur cinema in New York in the 70's Ben Russell, winner of the Punta de Vista Grand Prize 2010 with his film Let Each One Go Where He May, and member of the jury of this year’s edition, will present his own special session on Saturday 26 February. In this programme, Russell will guide the audience through a series of short films where the spectator can trace the echoes of his work.

Punto de Vista will host the world premiere of the correspondence between two great filmmakers: Jonas Mekas and Jose Luis Guerin This correspondence consisting of a series of filmed letters which both authors have been exchanging, leads to a personal relationship which reveals shared impressions, views and similarities between the two filmmakers.

Patrick Keiller is back on screen after ten years with Robinson in Ruins, to be premiered in Spain at PdV In the next edition of Punto de Vista, Patrick Keiller is presenting his latest film, Robinson in Ruins, as part of “La región central / The Central Region”. The movie is a visual essay on the glories of the past in a time of economic collapse.
