The retrospective The Personal is the Political kicks off tomorrow and it will be introduced by the cycle’s curators Sophie Mayer and Elena Oroz. The Personal is the Political is an invitation to discover or go deeper into the relevant contributions of feminism to documentary film by the screening of 22 titles from places such as Latinamerica, USA or the Middle East. The sessions will be followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Michelle Citron -director of the feminist classic of the 70s Daughter Rite- and Campbell X, who will be screening her film Fem. They will also participate in the round table about Feminism and Documentary that will take place in Condestable on Wednesday.
