Marcin Ryczek is a photographer from Cracow, where he studied computer graphics. His concept images refer to the symbols and geometry. The main assumptions in his works are simplicity, minimalism and reference to its form to the graphics. The reference to the flag, diagrams or symbols gives the pictures a philosophical meaning which force to deeper reflection. Besides reference to geometry and symbol graphics, an important component that connects all his works is the man. His images are presented at exhibitions in Poland, Japan, China and Germany.

The photograph, A Man Feeding Swans in the Snow was taken in Cracow from Grunwald Bridge. As Marcin Ryczek says, "contrast created by a nature of white snow and dark water separated by a line equal to the waterfront is a graphical reflection of the Yin-Yang symbol, opposing but complementary forces. The dark silhouette of a man on a light background and white swans on the dark water, surrounded by a ring of black ducks, compose complementation of the image, thereby giving it many possibilities of interpretation. This simple, powerful frame and universal symbolism presented in this scene is legible for many different, often very different cultures. The ambiguity of this image stimulates the imagination and emotions, encouraging to individual interpretation and reflection". The picture is placed in United States, China, Russia, Norway, Sweden and many other countries.
