Punto de Vista Festival has been called to Russia in September for a guest session at the next edition of the “Flahertiana” International Documentary Film Festival, which will be held in the city of Perm, one of the county’s most important cultural centres.
Punto de Vista Festival has been called to Russia in September for a guest session at the next edition of the “Flahertiana” International Documentary Film Festival, which will be held in the city of Perm, one of the county’s most important cultural centres.
In each edition of “Flahertiana”, a festival is selected and a window is opened to show a sample of its past programs, along with the opportunity to accompany and present the films. In parallel, a meeting with the audience will also take place, in which the spirit and philosophy of Punto de Vista will be revealed. The artistic director, Oskar Alegria, is preparing a selection of works related to humanism and the filming style of Robert Flaherty, to whom the Russian event is dedicated, and a conference which will deal with aspects, such as the current situation of documentary film in Spain.
