New phase of the Punto de Vista FOCO Cycle: 30th January, screening of And Now? Remind Me by Joaquim Pinto
Punto de Vista returns to the Punto de Vista FOCO cycle with the screening of the latest film by Joaquim Pinto E Agora? Lembra-me / And Now?, Remind Me, on Thursday 30th January, which has won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Festival 2013 and first prize at the Montreal RIDM Documentary Festival last November. It will be screened at 7.30 pm in the Navarra Film Library.
Punto de Vista returns to the Punto de Vista FOCO cycle with the screening of the latest film by Joaquim Pinto E Agora? Lembra-me / And Now?, Remind Me, on Thursday 30th January, which has won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Festival 2013 and first prize at the Montreal RIDM Documentary Festival last November. It will be screened at 7.30 pm in the Navarra Film Library.
In previous editions, Punto de Vista FOCO held a monthly monographic edition in which a film was programmed each week. This time, the sessions will span throughout the year and will be held on the last Thursday of each month, except February, when the Punto de Vista 2014 documentary film seminar is held. All of the sessions will be presented prior to screening. The Film Library will be the venue for non-fiction cinema in Pamplona once a month even after the festival dates in February.
The opening film of this new Punto de Vista FOCO can be seen on the last Thursday in January, 30th January, and will be the latest work by the Portuguese filmmaker, Joaquim Pinto, under the title of E Agora? Lembra-me / And Now? Remind Me (2013), which follows the diary of his year’s convalescence as HIV positive and the trials and effects of new drugs from a cult and friendly point of view in which the enigmatic look of insects, quotes from the bible and the laid-back life in a cottage in the Azores are not lacking.
