Untitled, black and white, anonymous. The photograph chosen to announce Punto de Vista International Documentary Film Festival was taken in the 1950s by a tourist visiting a cave in France, the “Gouffre de Padirac”, at the Occitan Pyrenees. Little else is known about it. It shows some nuns on a boat sailing across one of the cave’s ponds. Time and destiny wanted it to land in a flea market in Paris and come to the hands of the organisers of Punto de Vista last summer.

The photograph will make the poster announcing the 10th Punto de Vista Film Festival – a special anniversary edition being held at the Baluarte Concert Hall in Pamplona (the same venue as the previous edition) from 8 to 14 February 2016.
