The Punto de Vista catalogue for the 9th edition and the book, Hen Means Honey. Chosen poems and essays about cinema by Margaret Tait will be on sale on Monday 9th February.

Just a week before the inauguration of the ninth edition, the festival catalogue and the latest issue of the Punto de Vista collection will go on sale on Monday 9th February. Both publications can be purchased from the Government of Navarra's Publications Section (both online and in its headquarters in Calle Navas de Tolosa, 21) and in Baluarte, the headquarters of this edition.

The festival catalogue offers an extensive review of the sections and films that will be screened from 10th to 15th February. In addition to the titles that make up the Official Selection. The Central Region, the catalogue also provides information on the five Chez les Basques programmes and approaches the world of the islands in a more literary way, an imaginary that will act as the core of this year’s festival, bringing together around 18 films that explore the island territory as a paradise, prison and refuge.  

The retrospective that the festival will dedicate to Margaret Tait and her independent and totally self-funded films will jump from the screen to paper through the new book in the Punto de Vista collection. The publication brings together seven essays about cinema by the Scottish filmmaker and 32 of her poems, translated from English for the first time ever by the essayist and poet, Antonio Rivero Taravill. The book also has articles by proffesor, Sarah Neely and programmer, Peter Todd, who are specialised in Tait’s work. 

The catalogue costs €5 and the book is €10.
