For the second year running, the Spanish Radio 3 programme El Séptimo Vicio will be setting up shop in Pamplona for the duration of the Festival, taking place between 8th and 14th February, to provide detailed daily coverage of this tenth edition. It is the only programme on Radio 3 dedicated specifically to cinema and especially to auteur film, a genre that encompasses the Punto de Vista programming.

The programme, directed and presented by Javier Tolentino, will get right to the heart of the festival and will be made at the Katakrak bookshop (Calle Mayor, 54, Pamplona), one of the establishments partnering this event. The ground floor of the bookshop, which houses its popular café, will provide the location, setting up one of the corners as a mobile studio open to the public, who will be able to listen in live to the coverage of the festival from the bar area. Every evening, Javier Tolentino will interview all the stars and directors of the day, along with leading names and figures in Navarre’s cultural scene with links to Punto de Vista.

The series of programmes will take place every evening between 10 and 11pm, from Monday 8th February, when the Festival kicks off with a live performance by El Drogas, until 11th February, closing with a performance by the group Belize. On Tuesday 9th there will be a concert by Tonino Carotone, and on Wednesday 10th it’s the turn of J’aime (Jaime Cristóbal from Souvenir).

The presence of El Séptimo Vicio at the Punto de Vista International Documentary Film Festival of Navarre is part of a collaboration agreement that makes Radio 3 the official broadcaster of the festival. Punto de Vista has also signed a collaboration agreement with the digital publication DON, which will provide broad coverage of the tenth edition of Punto de Vista.
