The application period for Punto de Vista 2017 accreditations is open

The application period for Punto de Vista 2017 accreditations is open
01/26/2017
The festival continues its campaign in search of volunteers and its Youth Jury.

The period to apply for accreditation for the forthcoming edition of the Punto de Vista Navarra International Documentary Film Festival will be open until 24th February. Professionals and journalists who wish to be accredited must do so via the festival’s website.

Professional accreditation is reserved exclusively for professionals in the film and audiovisual industry (including representatives of production and distribution companies, filmmakers, and programmers), as well as third cycle students (specifically related to audiovisual studies). The registration fee is €20. Payment can be made via our website until 26th February.

After this date, the cost of accreditation will be €25 to be paid in cash at the accreditation stand at the festival’s headquarters as of 7th March.

Press accreditations are reserved exclusively for media representatives (printed press, e-press, news agencies, television and radio). The accreditation provides preferential entry to the morning screenings of the Official Section, press conferences, and presentations. Accredited journalists will be able to enter the screenings of other cycles subject to availability. The number of accreditations is limited so they will be granted at the discretion of the Festival’s organisers. Submitting an application does not mean that an accreditation will be granted.

VOLUNTEER CAMPAIGN

Punto de Vista continues its campaign to attract volunteers for the 11th edition to carry out the following tasks during the festival: ushers, press and communication staff, provision of services and information for guests and the general public.

Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and, in some cases, fluency in one or more of these languages is required:  Basque, English, French or German.

Those interested in forming part of the festival’s volunteers must fill in the form on the festival’s website by 29th January 2017. Volunteer shifts will not exceed 5 hours a day. Volunteers will be covered by a civil liability insurance and will be given accreditation to access screenings that do not coincide with their working hours. At the end of the festival, all of the volunteers will receive a certificate as proof of their participation in the festival.

Furthermore, Punto de Vista will have a Youth Jury for the third year in a row, which is made up of a group of young people from the city who become an active public, debating and judging the films and presenting a final Youth Award, hence creating a public of the future so the festival fulfils an social important social function.
