Punto de Vista and Radio 3 continue their commitment to live music with acoustic performances by Juarez, La Prima de Riesgo and Baobabs Will Destroy Your Planet

Punto de Vista and Radio 3 join forces again this year to round off the range of films at the festival with live music, and two of the station's flagship programmes will be recorded in Pamplona. As a novelty, this year it will happen in Geltoki, the landmark former bus station in Pamplona converted into a multi-purpose space where organic km 0 gastronomy meets organic trade and the sharing economy, as well as cultural activities.

So, on 12th, 13th and 14th March at 7.00pm, the programmes Séptimo Vicio and Tres en la Carretera will be leaving their regular studios at Radio Nacional to install themselves at Punto de Vista. The programmes will offer the chance to hear not only the best live music, but also interesting interviews by Javier Tolentino and Isabel Ruiz Lara with film-makers and guests at the festival. Entrance to these "Tardes de Punto de Vista con Radio 3" will be free until the venue is full. The programme will be the following:

Las Noches de Punto de Vista

From Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th March, the first Noches de Punto de Vista are to take place. From 11pm onwards, Club Nicolette and the Bar Nébula in Pamplona will be the essential meeting places to experience the parallel reality of the festival. This is when several of the film-makers who are to present their films during the day will be getting up in the booth to DJ with the music that inspires them.

So Las Noches de Punto de Vista kicks off on Tuesday 12th at Club Nicolette. On Wednesday the music comes from Deborah Stratman, who will be taking off the hat of an artist who explores power, control and belief for a short time to get carried away with music together with her friend Ben Russell, a film-maker who has already visited the festival in the past.

The Bar Nébula is to open its doors to Las Noches de Punto de Vista on Thursday 14th. César Vayssié, who will be presenting his latest film Ne Travaille Pas the day before, will be hitting the booth to start the weekend.

Finally we have Luke Fowler. The Scottish film-maker will be finding time in his busy agenda during his visit to Punto de Vista not only to present one of his latest films, Mum's Cards, in the Official Section, but will also be one of those responsible for closing the festival with a showing of Enceindre, a study in film and sound of two 16th-century fortified towns: Berwick in the North-East of England and Pamplona in the Navarra region of Spain. He will also be taking part in Punto de Vista Labs, giving a masterclass on La Acústica del Archivo (Archive Acoustics) and, as if this were not enough, will be another of the DJs transforming the festival nights, on Friday at Club Nicolette.
