Punto de Vista continues in is commitment to offer its audience different artistic ideas related to the world of film. “EL SEXTO SOL is an immersive film experience made live which explores man's cosmovision, nature and need to make sense of the world to understand how it was created and thereby control it... and destroy it,” explains the author, Luis Macias.
The "audiovisual score" was composed for different instruments and visual and sound performers. On Friday 15th March, from 10.30pm, Luis Macias himself will be performing it at the Pamplona Planetarium, accompanied by Miguel Puertas, Xavier Querel and Alfredo Costa. Tickets are on sale now through the Planetarium website www.pamplonetario.org.
This piece of expanded film is designed for a 360º projection device specific to planetariums, and explores unlikely landscapes of suns, moons, planets, constellations and other elements of the cosmos, proposing a journey into a future creation myth.
The show lasts 60 minutes and alternates 16 and 35 mm films. Luis Macias is an artist, film maker and image composer.
