Most of the directors of the 23 films selected for the Official Section will attend the festival, as well as the filmmakers whose work will be in focus on retrospectives (Ute Aurand, Helga Fanderl, Jeannette Muñoz, Renate Sami), directors with films in other sections (Lois Patiño, Carlos Casas or Isaki Lacuesta, among others) and the six members of the Official Section and X Films juries. Also nine out of ten filmmakers of the X Films project since it started in 2010 will be in attendance.
Pamplona will receive the visit of representatives of the following festivals, museums or institutions: San Sebastián Festival, ICAA, Centre Pompidou, Museo Reina Sofía, Doc Lisboa, Harvard Film Archive, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Haus der Kunst de Munich, Cinematek Brussels, Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, Instituto Cervantes, Goethe-Institut, Porto Post Doc, Moscow Experimental Film Festival, Zinebi, Doc’s Kingdom, S8 Mostra de Cinema Periférico, Dock of the Bay, Filmadrid and Curtocircuito.
This year for the first time the festival’s website has a dedicated section for guests, with public information on who will attend Punto de Vista.
Besides the official guests, the festival will receive over 300 accredited film professionals, students and journalists.
